Jharkhand, June 21 Villagers today refused a dialogue with the Koderma district administration on land acquisition for a 4000 MW power project by Reliance, an official said.
The Deputy Commissioner, Mr Shiv Shankar Tiwari went to Paparwa to hold talks with the villagers, the Land Acquisition Officer Mr Zayan Prakash Minz told reporters here.
The Deputy Commissioner had called representatives of nine villages for the purpose, but they refused the overture, Mr Minz said.
Mr Minz added, a total of 971 acres, including private land, have been identified in the Jainanagar block of the district for the project.
