With sales from the e-commerce platform growing, footwear and apparel maker Woodland plans to launch a range exclusively for selling on-line.

“We have finalised around 20 designs and have begun deliveries to channel partners in December,” Harikirat Singh, MD, said. Around 10 per cent of the company's total sales come from e-commerce.

The Delhi-based firm is also planning an overseas thrust and will open a few company owned and operated (Coco) stores in China, Dubai and the CIS region in 2016. It already has eight-odd stores in Hong Kong.

Woodland will also add 50-60 new 500 Coco stores in India, while testing out the franchise model in smaller towns, Singh added.
