The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Andhra Pradesh branch will be offering hand-holding services for those who wish to get a US visa.
The industry body had a meeting with officials of US Consulate, Hyderabad in this regard recently and a dedicated help centre would be set up soon, Mr S Purnachandra Rao, Chairman, IACC-AP, told newspersons here.
The focus would be on helping the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and students, among others, he added. Though the service is likely to be offered free of charge initially, some fee might be charged at a later date.
Dr Bhaskara Narayana, immediate past chairman of IACC-AP and CFO Natco Pharma Ltd efforts were on to foster greater collaboration between SMEs in various sector in the State and SMEs in the US. “An exclusive Franchisee delegation from the US is expected to visit Andhra Pradesh next month,” he said.
