Star Hospitals, a 130-bed hospital, has received NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers). “We will get a certificate in September 2011,” Dr Mannam Gopichand, Managing Director and chief Cardiothoracic Surgeon, said here in a press release.
The hospital has become the fifth hospital in Andhra Pradesh 78{+t}{+h} in the country to receive NABH tag. “This standard consists of over 500 specifications. Hospitals need to meet these specifications in order to vie for NABH certification,” he said. —
