Soyabean and soya oil ruled stable on weak global cues and weak demand for the meal with soya refined today in local mandis being quoted at ₹615-18, while soya solvent ruled at ₹595-98 for 10 kg.
According to Sanjay Agrawal, a local trader, bearish sentiment in soya complex is mainly due to weak buying support in soyabean from crushers due to weak export demand in soyameal.
Amid arrival of 5,000 bags and sluggish demand, soyabean declined marginally today to ₹3,800 a quintal. Plant deliveries of soyabean ruled firm at ₹3,750. Soyameal on the spot today remained stable at ₹34,000 a quintal.
