Weak availability and delay in the release of government stock have lifted chana prices at the mandis in Indore. Chana (kanta) went for ₹4,000 a quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹3,900 and chana (mausmi) at ₹4,000-4,500 . Chana dal (average) was at ₹4,600-4,700, chana dal (medium) at ₹4,950-5,050 , while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,300-5,400 . Dollar chana ruled flat at ₹5,000-5,500 . In the container, dollar chana traded lower on weak export and domestic demand with the 44/46 count ruling at ₹6,250-6,300, while the 58/60 count went for ₹5,500-5,550 .
