A mega job fair will be held in Chikballapur on July 14-15, said Mr Veerappa Moily, the Corporate Affairs Minister and Chikballapur MP, at the inauguration of Alvas Pragati, a two-day job fair organised by the Alvas Education Foundation at Moodbidri.
Around 12,000 youths secured jobs at a job fair conducted by the foundation in Chikballapur last year, which was attended by 170 companies. He said 20,000 youths were expected to land jobs at the fair to be conducted by the foundation in July. More than 200 companies would attend the fair.
