Software exports from Madhya Pradesh’s only Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in IT sector here registered a 24 per cent growth at Rs 62 crore by the end of the third quarter of the current fiscal, a top official said on Sunday.
Assistant Development Commissioner, SEZ projects, Ravi Chhangani said software export from the SEZ Crystal IT Park last year in the corresponding period (April-December) stood at Rs 50 crore.
He said currently there are four companies operating from the IT Park and four new units have been given permission to start operations. Presently, a total of 630 employees are working in the four companies. Operations from the IT park began in June 2012.
