In a bid to increase passenger growth, the Airport Express Line today launched ‘Chota Card’ fare scheme offering 10 trips in a month at a discounted price. Army official Lt. Gen Chetinder Singh launched the scheme at Dhaula Kuan Station, which is in close vicinity of Army Cantonment.

Mr Anil P Gupta, President, Reliance Infrastructure said, “We are thankful to DMRC and other stakeholders for providing us all the support in making Airport metro fully operational. Delhi commuters will now be able to save their commuting time and enjoy hassle-free, pollution-free travel in the swanky high speed airport metro.”

“Launch of ‘Chota Card’ is one such step in that direction where even less frequent travellers can enjoy the benefit of Airport Metro, at a much lesser cost,” he said.

Priced at 25 per cent discounted rate from the existing daily token, ‘Chota Card’ will cost anywhere between Rs 150 to Rs 750 for ten trips, depending upon the boarding and de-boarding stations of passenger.”

The high speed Airport Metro, connecting New Delhi station to Dwarka sector 21 via IGI T3 airport now runs full fledged service with all its six stations commercially operational for the passengers.

The Line has already has a 60—trip card.
