Aiming to attract small and medium enterprises (SME) clients on their airlines, Etihad Airways announced the launch of BusinessConnect, a loyalty programme specifically for SME Businesses.
The scheme is open to any registered business and between two to two hundred employees can be registered under one BusinessConnect account.
Management of the customer loyalty account will be in the hands of the companies themselves who can designate and administrator to oversee accrual and redemption with 24-hour online access.
Benefits of the programme include 5,000 bonus miles on the administrator's account with any company's first flight after enrolment. Members of BusinessConnect will also get 60 per cent of the miles travelled by employees on the Diamond First and Pearl Business Class and 30 per cent of the miles travelled by employees on the Coral Economy Class.
