Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd (HMR) has announced a design competition seeking innovative designs for the proposed commercial complex at Putlibowli, the busy marketplace near Koti. The Rs 7-crore complex seeks to rehabilitate small traders and hawkers displaced by road widening in Badichowdi-Sultan Bazar areas.
“We would like to have creative designs that reflect basic character of Sultan Bazar area,” Mr N.V.S. Reddy, Managing Director of HMR, said here in a statement.
The last date for submission of designs is September 15, 2011. The complex would come up on 2,150 square yards with a built up area of about 77,000 sq ft.
