The resignation of Neil Raymond Mills as the Chief Executive Officer of SpiceJet Ltd has been accepted by the company.
Without naming his successor, the company, in its brief regulatory filing to the stock exchange, said that “Neil Raymond Mills has resigned from the company and the same has been taken on record and accepted by the board of directors in its meeting held on August 2, in accordance with the terms of his employment with the company”.
Neil Mills, who was brought on board by Kalanithi Maran soon after he acquired a 37.75 per cent stake in the airline in 2010, is said to have put in his papers last month, after a brief meeting with the management.
