The Maharashtra government and concessionaires have indicated that the Navi Mumbai airport will be ready in about three years, R N Choubey, Secretary, Civil Aviation, said on Tuesday.
“We are optimistic that it will be operational by September 2021. We are trying to push for earlier,” he said. The Secretary has just returned from a review of the airport. He added that the government is hopeful of compressing the time-frame for opening the Navi Mumbai airport
