TVS Motor Company Chairman Venu Srinivasan has been appointed as Honorary Commanding Officer of Korean Naval Vessel, ROKS Choi Young.
A certificate of appointment sealed by the Commanding Officer Captain Kim Hyunil was conferred on Srinivasan during a ceremony held aboard the vessel at Chennai port last evening.
The honour was bestowed on Srinivasan in appreciation of his dedication to enhance the friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of India, as Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea, TVS Motor said in a statement.
Srinivasan is also the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea.
