Riding on the hike in MSP and increased demand from millers, uptrend continued in most of the pulses and pulse seeds at the mandis in Indore. Moong Madhya Pradesh rose to ₹6,800-6,900 a quintal.. According to Prakash Vora, a trader, besides the rise in MSP, increased demand from millers and the State’s decision to procure moong on the MSP have also contributed to the rally. Urad also gained ₹300 with urad (Mumbai) rising to ₹6,300- 6,500 a quintal, while urad (Madhya Pradesh) was quoted at ₹6,900-7,000. Tur (Maharashtra) rose to ₹5,600-5,750, while tur Nimari ruled at ₹4,800-5,100.
