Rage Communications has launched AlphaLearn, a mobile app for Windows Phone 7. AlphaLearn is an interactive learning application for pre-schoolers exploring the alphabet. It helps children learn the alphabet and the sounds they make. The application starts with a random display of alphabets. Tapping an alphabet brings up a larger display of the alphabet and a voice reading the alphabet. Using the application, the pre-schooler not only learns to identify the alphabet but also learns to pronounce it. The application is self-contained and does not present any options or settings screens, making it child-friendly, says a press release issued Rage, a Chennai-based a digital communications agency and technology consultancy firm.
