While emphasising the importance of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) certification on the export invoice of IT companies, Omkar Rai, Director General of STPI allayed fears of it being expensive. “We have not revised the rate for years,” he said.
However, he made it clear that STPI would not be going back on the stipulation that IT companies would have to get the certification for each and every export invoice, he said on the sidelines of Connect Coimbatore 2014, the annual IT event organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry, Coimbatore zone.
The STPI has awarded the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project to Infosys.
