Tata Consultancy Services and VMware will jointly create a new Centre of Excellence (CoE) with two data centre locations at Milford, Ohio and Pune, India.
As per a joint press statement, the CoE will help customers combine TCS’ infrastructure transformation prowess with a software-defined data centre architecture from VMware.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The centre also enable customers to beta test real-world application workloads and to assess the effort required to deploy applications in a data centre, the companies said
The US-headquartered VMware is a leader in virtualisation and cloud infrastructure solutions.
