Home-grown mobile phone manufacturer, Micromax will launch two premium model smartphones on Friday.
Canvas 2 Plus will be priced at ₹8,991 and Bharat 5 Pro for ₹7,992. They will be on offer for a down payment of ₹1 and an EMI of ₹999.
Clix Capital, a Gurugram-based commercial lending company, as an in-store lending partner to finance the purchases of the new models.
“Our aim of providing affordable and quality smartphones to customers is in sync with Clix Capital’s idea of offering simple and hassle-free loans to apsiring individuals and that is why we chose them as lending partner,” said Shubhodip Pal, Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer, Micromax Informatics Ltd.
It has also entered into an exclusive tie-up with Poorvika Mobiles, a Chennai-based mobile phone retailer, to sell the new products from 43 select showrooms of the retailer in the city.
“We are optimistic about this product launch and we target to sell at least 17,000 units within first 24 days of the roll out,” Shubhodip said.
