Smartphone brand YU Televentures said it has partnered with Reliance Retail, to sell its devices offline to the customer to have a touch and feel of the models.

The popular model of smartphones, which were available exclusively for e-sales (e-commerce portals), will now be available across 30,000 retail outlets across India, starting Monday, the company said.

YU follows brands like Xiaomi and Motorola that have already started selling at offline stores recently.

“Reliance will be key part of the telecom ecosystem, the partnership will ensure that our discerning customers get a touch and feel of the models at the retail point and this partnership is one more step in the direction of putting the consumer first,” Rahul Sharma, Founder, YU Televentures, said.

The partnership is an exclusive retail sales and distribution partnership to enhance the availability of popular voice over LTE (VoLTE) mobile devices across India.

All the three smartphone models will also be available at a competitive price points Yuphoria (₹7999), Yunique (₹ 6499) and Yureka Plus (₹10, 999), the company said.

Reliance Retail has recently strengthened its sales and distribution arm to establish a formidable retail network of 1,200 distributors and 1.50 lakh retail outlets that will support the evolving VoLTE and VoWiFi device ecosystem in the country.
