GEI Industrial Systems Ltd has secured orders worth Rs 60 crore for supplying air cooled vacuum steam condensers from Ultratech Cements, Sravanthi Infratech and Wonder Cement.

Mcleod Russel India Ltd has said that according to reports in the press, the Government of Rwanda has approved the sale of 60 per cent shares of Gisovu Tea Company Ltd to Borelli Tea Holdings Ltd, UK, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The official communication and the procedures for completion of the transaction are awaited.

Nitesh Estates Ltd has launched a luxury residential project near MG Road, Bangalore, with a potential revenue generation of Rs 100 crore. Expected to be completed in 18 to 24 months, it will significantly improve the financials of the company.

Sesa Goa Ltd has said that the Supreme Court has, vide order dated February 7, upheld the order of Single Judge of High Court of Bombay at Goa dated December 18, 2008, approving the Scheme of Amalgamation of Sesa Industries Ltd with Sesa Goa Ltd with appointed date of April 1, 2005. The company has received the certified copy of the Supreme Court order and the formalities giving effect to the merger are being complied with.

Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd has bagged three work orders worth Rs 238.95 crore — for construction of high rise towers in Navi Mumbai for Rs 137.5 crore, for construction of dwelling units for DGMAP at Kolkata valued Rs 71.1 crore and for a steel plant in Jalna-Wazrdha for Rs 30.35 crore, taking the outstanding order book value to nearly Rs 3,035 crore.
