India’s leading bourse BSE will hold a mock trading session on Saturday to check its new trading system, which would be made compulsory from next week.

In a circular today, BSE said it would conduct a mock trading session on Saturday, February 16.

BSE will hold the trading session for one and a half hour. The session would start at 1100 hrs and close at 1230 hrs.

“Release of new version... with new features shall be made live effective from the revised date, Monday, February 18, 2013,” BSE said.

“The new version is a compulsory release and users of existing...versions...shall be required to upgrade to the new version,” it added.

The move is part of the exchange’s efforts to provide its members with a robust and efficient system for trading with better features.
