Turmeric arrivals in Erode markets registered an uptick on Friday. At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Salesyard, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,299-6,649 a quintal and root variety at ₹4,908-5,877. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,056-6,219 and root variety at ₹4,299-5,739. At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,399-6,359 and root variety at ₹5,096-5,788.
