With lockdown 4.0 coming to an end, MCX has restored the second session of agricultural commodity trading up to 9 pm with effect from Tuesday.
After the outbreak of Covid, the exchange had limited the agriculture commodity trade timing to 5 pm.
Energy and non-agriculture commodities will continue to be traded from 9 am to 11.30 pm.
In view of growing interest from market participants and the end of the lockdown, MCX said it has been decided to restore trading timing of international referenceable agriculture commodities from 5 pm to 9 pm. Client code modification will be allowed between 9 pm and 9.15 pm, it said.
There will be no change in trade timings of other commodities, said MCX.
