Tata Capital Financial Services has received subscription of over ₹1,444 crore in the non-convertible debenture issue which opened for subscription on Monday.
The base issue size of tranche I of the issue is ₹2,000 crore with an option to retain oversubscription up to ₹7,500 crore.
The response from retail individual investors and high networth investors saw the issue cross the ₹1,000-crore mark. The encouraging response comes in the face of Bharat Bandh on September 10, said the company in a statement on Tuesday.
The issue is scheduled to close on September 21 with an option of early closure or extension, as decided by the board of directors of the company or the working committee of the board of directors, it added.
