BHEL extended its morning gains to emerge the top gainer on the BSE in late trading on Thursday. At 2.55 pm the share was quoting at ₹218.05, up 7.97 per cent on its overnight close at ₹201.95.
Hindalco held firm to trade at ₹157.35. This represented a gain of 5.75 per cent on its previous close at ₹148.80.
State Bank of India traded up 3.28 per cent at ₹2,490.95 as against yesterday’s close at ₹2,411.80.
ICICI Bank moved up 2.81 per cent at ₹1,490.40. The stock had ended yesterday’s session at ₹1,449.65.
L&T built gains of 2.7 per cent at ₹1,486.50 as against ₹1,447.45 at close on Wednesday.
