The Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) index declined 97.76 points during the week. The CSE-40 index opened at 6,002.35 points and closed lower at 5,904.59.
BHEL gained Rs 14.15 after opening at Rs 1,723. Infosys Technologies gained Rs 12 and the scrip closed at Rs 2,222. Larsen & Toubro lost Rs nine after opening at Rs 1,548.
Reliance Industries lost Rs 10 and the scrip closed at Rs 737. SBI lost Rs 144.05 after opening at Rs 2,044. Tata Steel lost Rs five after opening at Rs 466.
