Arvind International Ltd, which came out with a rights issue of 84,12,540 equity shares of Rs 10 each at a price of Rs 13.50 each (including a premium of Rs 3.50 per share) aggregating Rs 11.35 crore in the ratio of six shares for every five shares held, has decided to extend the closing date from August 26 to September 2.

Jubilant FoodWorks' Domino's Pizza, a prominent player in the organised pizza home delivery segment in India, has launched an online ordering service nationally, which will allow customers to pay by cash on delivery or credit card, debit card, net banking or mobile cash card for their pizzas.

L&T has said that L&T Construction has secured an order worth Rs 797 crore from a leading developer for the mixed use construction, comprising predominantly of residential, and including retail and commercial, developments in Mumbai.

Sterlite Technologies Ltd, a provider of connectivity solutions for the power and telecom industries, has received two new contracts from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) for manufacture and supply of power conductors — for use in the Champa-Raipur pooling station transmission line in Chattisgarh, and for use in Kishnganj-Patna Line intended to evacuate power from hydroelectric generation projects in Sikkim to the Northern and Western regions of the country.

The two contracts are valued about Rs 225 crore and are among the new orders valued at about Rs 450 crore that Sterlite has received since July 1.

REpower Systems SE, in which Suzlon Energy Ltd holds approximately 95 per cent stake, has concluded a contract with WindWorks Power Corp for the delivery of 25 wind turbines for five projects in Ontario (Canada).

The wind farms will generate a total output of more than 50 MW. With a nominal output of 2.05 MW each, the turbines are scheduled to be delivered in the spring of 2013 and put into operation in the summer of the same year.
