The holding companies of Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd (SEIL) have sold a bulk of their shares in SEIL to its subsidiary company Energy Grid Automation Transformers and Switchgears India Ltd (Energy Grid).
The shares were sold at Rs 67 a piece. This was at a premium to Wednesday's closing price of Rs 65 (down four per cent from previous close).
SEIL's holding companies — Alstom Grid SAS, Alstom Sextant 5 SAS, Long & Crawford Ltd and Areva T&D Holdings SA — have sold shares to the SEIL subsidiary company through a block deal on the BSE.
