Dhunseri Petrochem & Tea Ltd has purchased and taken possession of the Sona Assam Tea Factory from Sona Assam Tea Co. The capacity of the factory is 7 lakh kg p.a which will be expanded to 10 lakh kg p.a. during this season. In the current financial year the company has purchased four tea factories including the above, with a total capacity of 42 lakh kg p.a that would be expanded to 60 lakh kg p.a. during this season.
