Adani Power Ltd's board of directors on February 6 approved the consolidation of transmission line business into a new entity to integrate transmission line projects spread across various entities of Adani Group under one umbrella.

Amar Remedies Ltd's board of directors will on February 9 consider the proposal of issue of securities including equity shares and/ or equity linked securities and/ or Compulsory Convertible Debentures and/ or GDR and/ or ADR and/or Non-Convertible Debentures with Detachable Warrants through any permissible route including through a Qualified Institutions Placement in supersession of the earlier shareholders' approval dated June 15, 2011.

Everest Kanto Cylinder Ltd' s Dubai-based subsidiary EKC International FZE has purchased the entire share capital of Blitz D11 eins-sechs-drei GmbH, incorporated in Dusseldorf, Germany. EKC International FZE is currently in the process of changing the name of Blitz D11 eins-sechs-drei GmbH to EKC Europe GmbH.

IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd, which was declared as the preferred bidder by the National Highways Authority of India for four laning of Kiratpur to Ner-Chowk Section of NH-21 in Himachal Pradesh on DBFOT pattern under NHDP Phase-III, has received a Letter of Award dated February 2 from NHAI. The estimated cost is Rs 1,818.47 crore and the company had quoted a grant of Rs 134.57 crore. The project is on toll basis with a concession period of 28 years, including construction period of three years.

L&T Construction, belonging to Larsen & Toubro Ltd, has bagged Rs 1,937-crore order from GVK for design and construction for four laning of a major portion of Shivpuri-Dewas section of NH-3 in Madhya Pradesh for a length of 235 km.
