Birla Corporation Ltd has said that the trial production of clinker from the brown-field cement capacity expansion project of 1.2 million tonne at Chanderia has commenced w.e.f. March 17. The mining operations remain suspended as per court directions.
The Indian Bureau of Mines has conducted inspection and various tests with regard to the mining at Chanderia and a report has been submitted to the court. The matter is expected to be listed for hearing shortly.
IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd has said that the Concession Agreement for the four-laning of the Kiratpur-Ner-Chowk Section of NH-21 (from 73.200 km to 186.500 km) in Himachal Pradesh on DBFOT basis, estimated to cost Rs 1818.47 crore, was signed between NHAI and Kiratpur-Ner-Chowk Expressway Ltd, the Special Purpose Vehicle incorporated by the company for undertaking the project.

Pricol Ltd entered into an agreement with Pricol Pune Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary, on March 18 to transfer the business, assets and liabilities related to the instrument cluster business of Plant V of the company at Pune to Pricol Pune.
