BHEL hit a purple patch in the second half of the session to notch up gains on both the NSE and BSE. At 3.15 pm the share led the pack on the NSE with gains of 5.31 per cent at Rs 285.50. It had ended the previous session at Rs 271.10.
Punjab National Bank traded up 2.76 per cent at Rs 996.10. The share had ended Wednesday’s session at Rs 969.35.
Hindustan Unilever edged up further to hold gains of 2.65 per cent at Rs 790.15 as against Rs 769.75 at close yesterday.
Tata Power was trading at Rs 92.65. This represented a gain of 2.09 per cent on its previous close at Rs 90.75.
HCL Technologies moved up 1.78 per cent at Rs 1,662.25 as against Rs 1,633.15 at close on Wednesday.
