Wockhardt has received shareholders’ approval to raise up to ₹1,000 crore through equity shares or other securities. The company has sought approval through postal ballot for raising additional capital by way of one or more public or private offerings including through a qualified institutional placement or other eligible securities. The special resolution has been approved by the members of the company with requisite majority, the company added. Shares of Wockhardt closed at ₹635.15 against the previous day’s close of ₹635.80 on the NSE.

GPT Infraprojects has won an order of ₹210 crore from the Office of the Superintending Engineer, Public Works (Roads) Directorate, Government of West Bengal, the company informed the stock market on Friday. GPT Infraprojects — an infrastructure company engaged in the manufacture of concrete sleepers and fabrication of steel bridges — will construct Railway over Bridge (ROB) and its approaches in lieu of level crossing on NH-60 and construction of ROB and its approaches in lieu of unmanned level crossings on NH-60 in West Bengal. Shares of GPT Infraprojects inched up 0.9 per cent at ₹269.50 on the NSE.

Ultracab (India) on Friday informed the exchanges that it has received a purchase order worth ₹10.25 crore from various government and public limited companies in this quarter. Their clients include Madhya Gujarat Vij Company, Gujarat State Electricity Corporation, Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co, IOCL, Department of Atomic Energy, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation, Indian Rare Earths, Nuclear Power Corporation of India and Punjab State Power Corporation. The stock slipped 0.24 per cent at ₹123.90 on the BSE.
