The Calcutta Stock Exchange index rose during the week as the market stayed buoyant.
Benchmark index CSE-40 was higher by 198.90 points during the day. The local bourse was higher by 234.39 points during the previous week.
The index opened at 5,503.72 and during the week it gained to end at 5,702.62.
Blueprint Securities was Rs 307. IT major Infosys Technologies closed at Rs 2,585.40. Larsen & Toubro finished up at Rs 1,262.
Reliance Industries was at Rs 786.10 and State Bank of India slipped to Rs 1,924.05. Tata Steel finished the week at 434.
