The board of eClerx Services will meet on Friday to consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares of the company.
The company last year had announced a buyback offer to acquire 11.70 lakh shares at ₹2,000 apiece; it had received an overwhelming response for 93.43 lakh shares.
Investors will closely monitor the price and quantum of shares to be bought back through the issue. Besides, the mode of buyback and promoters’ response will also be viewed.
