Bajaj Auto traded on firm ground in the second half to close the day as the top gainer on the NSE. At 3.30 pm the share was trading at Rs 2,504.20, up 4.67 per cent on its previous close at Rs 2,392.60.
GAIL (India) also joined the uptrend to post gains of 3.38 per cent at Rs 412.75 as against Rs 399.25 at close last evening.
Cairn India spurted 3.27 per cent to quote at Rs 187.90. The share had closed Wednesday’s session at Rs 181.95.
Larsen & Toubro climbed up 3.22 per cent to quote at Rs 1,809.75 against Rs 1,753.25 at close yesterday.
IndusInd Bank was up 2.68 per cent at Rs 867.15 against Rs 844.50 at close last evening.
