The continuous fall in yellow metal prices could boost jewellery company shares, such as Thangamayil, Shree Ganesh Jewellery, Gitanjali Gems, TBZ, PC Jeweller, C Mahendra Exports, and Rajesh Exports.
Gold prices hit their lowest in nearly six years on Wednesday. Spot gold was down 0.20 per cent at $1,072 an ounce, after falling to $1,064.95 earlier in the day in New York, the lowest since February 2010. In the domestic market, spot gold hovered around ₹25,100 per 10 gram.
