The board of Kanpur Plastipack on Thursday has extended the last date for payment of first and final call money (for rights shares) without interest to July 15. The decision followed the request of several shareholders, the company said in a statement to the exchanges.
The conversion of partly paid-up shares into fully paid-up shares on which the call money has been received by the company should be done shortly, it added. The company had earlier approved 23.87 lakh shares on rights basis to eligible shareholders at ₹75 a share. Shares of Kanpur Plastipack fell 1.08 per cent at ₹137.80 on the BSE.
