Sun Pharma was broadly firm in the Monday morning session. At 10.40 am it was the top gainer on the NSE as well, trading at Rs 1,117.50. This represented a gain of 3.36 per cent on Wednesday’s close at Rs 1,081.15. The markets opened today after a four-day break for festivals.
M&M drove up 2.32 per cent to quote at Rs 1,229.95. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 1,202.10.
ACC held firm to trade at Rs 1,621. This was a gain of 2.21 per cent on its previous close at Rs 1,585.90.
Tata Motors rode up 1.98 per cent at Rs 569.95 as against Rs 558.91 at close previously.
Tech Mahindra traded up 1.77 per cent at Rs 643.90. The share had ended the previous week at Rs 632.70.
