Asian stocks were trading in a mixed range today as investors remained cautious over the global outlook and the Greek debt crisis.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 was up 11.81 points or 0.12 per cent at 9,559.60. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell 87.67 points or 0.39 per cent to 22,408.33. Singapore’s Straits Times was up 1.37 points or 0.04 per cent at 3,058.76. South Korea’s Kospi was down 0.41 points or 0.02 per cent at 2,076.42.
Australia’s S&P/Asx 200 fell 17.9 points or 0.39 per cent to 4,567.10. China’s Shanghai Composite was down 13.24 points or 0.48 per cent at 2,716.80. Taiwan’s Taiex shed 42.5 points or 0.48 per cent to 8,786.71.
