Shares of Nava Bharat Ventures fell as much as 10 per cent, marking their worst day since Feb 2, 2018.
At 1 pm, the stock of Nava Bharat Ventures was trading lower by 8.18 per cent at ₹97.60.
The company, which is engaged in power generation, mining, ferro alloys and agri-business, on Wednesday posted a 59 per cent plunge in its Q4 consolidated net profit.
More than 2.6 times shares change hands vs 30-day avg of 197,971 shares. The stock was down 11.6 per cent this year, as of last close.
