IT and financial sector shares were among the top gainers on the BSE on Friday morning. Public sector bank SBI led the pack on the bourse. At 10.19 am the share was trading at Rs 236.50. This represented a gain of 0.98 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 234.20.
Infosys advanced 0.69 per cent at rs 1,130.15 against Rs 1,122.45 at close yesterday.
HDFC built gains of 0.60 per cent to trade at Rs 1,215.40 against Rs 1,208.15 at close last evening.
TCS made gains of 0.49 per cent at Rs 2,503 against Rs 2,490.75 at close on Thursday.
Larsen & Toubro also climbed up 0.46 per cent to trade at Rs 1,375.60. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 1,369.35.
