SKS scrip plummeted 5.02 per cent to Rs 495.50 today on Bombay Stock Exchange after closing at Rs 521. 70 on Tuesday.
The Hyderabad-based company had on Tuesday announced that it had suffered a loss of Rs 219 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2011.
In the corresponding quarter previous year, the Hyderabad-based company earned a profit of Rs 66 crore.
According to the unaudited financial results of the company, the total revenue too declined significantly at Rs 163 crore (Rs 306 crore).
