Southern Online Bio Technologies has bagged an order for supply of bio-diesel from South Central Railway (SCR). On June 5, SCR for the first time used diesel locomotive, fuelled with 5 per cent blend of bio-diesel with 95 per cent traditional high-speed diesel in Hyderabad. Following this, the company is now expecting more such orders from the Railways and has become L1 in many Railway Bio-diesel supply tenders. Shares of Southern Online however, slumped 5.4 per cent at ₹3.3 on the BSE.
