Tata Power made rapid gains in the latter half of the day to emerge the top gainer on the BSE on Monday evening. At 3.10 pm the share was trading at Rs 91.65, up 4.03 per cent on its previous close at Rs 88.10.
Hindalco Industries inched up to quote at Rs 166.30. This represented a gain of 3.84 per cent on its Friday close at Rs 160.15.
Tata Steel made further ground to trade at Rs 477.70 as against Rs 462.70 at close last week. This represented a gain of 3.24 per cent.
Infosys built up gains of 3.04 per cent to trade at Rs 4,272.15 as against Rs 4,146.10 at close previously.
ICICI Bank traded up 2.46 per cent at Rs 1,776.60 as against Rs 1,734 at close last week.
