Transformers and Rectifiers (India) on Wednesday informed the exchanges that it has bagged a ₹126-crore order from UPPTCL for supply of 53 transformers. The order from the Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation falls under the normal course of business, it said. The company neither has any interest in the entity that awarded the order nor falls within related-party transactions, it further said in a notice to the stock exchanges. With this order, the company’s order book stands at around ₹1,030 crore. The company’s stock closed at ₹41.05, up 1.5 per cent, on the NSE.
