SEBI’s three executive directors (EDs) including PK Nagpal, Ananta Barua and S Ravindran will be interviewed for filling up the post of the fourth whole-time member (WTM). The interview will be held on April 5 in Delhi, sources told BusinessLine . SEBI has four WTM posts of which there are vacancies for two. Interviews for the third WTM post were held last year and Sanjeev Kaushik, a 1992 batch IAS officer, was appointed. But since Kaushik declined to take up the job, it is likely that selection of a candidate will be made from those interviewed last year and interviews of candidates for the fourth WTM post will be held this week.
J Ranganayakulu, a former ED, is also in the race. He was interviewed last year. Ranganayakulu and another SEBI ED SK Mohanty are in the race for the post of the third WTM.
