The offer-for-sale of Indian Oil Corporation by the Centre will take place at the bourses on Monday. The government will sell 10 per cent stake in IOC that can fetch the exchequer about ₹9,500 crore. IOC will disclose the floor price pf the share sale on Saturday. If the stake sale is successful, sentiment will turn bullish for the entire market, as it will help the government meet its ambitious target of mopping up ₹69,500 crore from disinvestment in the current fiscal.
