State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has announced the appointment of three general managers at its headquarters here.
They are G. Madana Mohan Rao (inspection and audit); S. Vasudevan (priority sector lending, rural banking and financial inclusion); and D. Babu Jayaraj (stressed assets management).
Rao started his banking career in 1979 as a probationary officer with State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH). He has held several key posts such as assistant general manager of the bank’s Rajahmundry region; and deputy general manager (financial inclusion) at State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur.
Vasudevan started his banking career in 1978 as a probationary officer in State Bank of Mysore. He has been assistant general manager (Chennai region) and deputy general manager at the bank’s commercial branch, Ernakulam. He has also had a stint as deputy general manager, head office, SBH; and deputy general manager at its Warangal zone.
Jayaraj started his banking career in 1979 as a probationary officer at SBT. He has held the positions of assistant general manager and later deputy general manager (inspection) at the bank apart from being deputy general manager, commercial branch, Mumbai, of State Bank of Patiala.
The total number of general managers with SBT is 10 now, a bank spokesman said.
